Oasis 3/22-29/14, so, so writing, pretty good pictures, very pretty girls!

Recommended Posts

Now tonight being the second formal night, Lobster was going to be served in the MDR and I was not going to miss that! But my wife had a different idea, “Let’s go back to Chops for dinner”. Oh, what am I going to do? You see, I do know if you remember the 5 words a husband needs to know for a successful ( and mostly happy) marriage ( 25 years this month!), and the first two are YES DEAR!

Tomorrow the final day, another dinner at 150 Central Park, some more printed information sheets, and some final thoughts

My husband needs to learn your secrets hahaha! ;)

OK, these are my 2 favorite new pictures!!!

OUR 1ST AND 2ND OFFICER.

SO These guys are amazing. The 1st officer in the white shirt is 23 and from Canada, the 2nd officer in the dark shirt is 21 and from New Zealand. What a future they have!!!

After the tour we meet our wives in the MDR for lunch, yes the TUTTI SALAD bar once again, and a few items from the menu. Menu items were Ok, nothing worth writing about… So the ship is still rocking and I decided that the best thing to do was TAKE A LONG NAP! and so I did!!

So I did an unusual Surf and Turf, Turf in Chops and Surf in the MDR!! Worked like a charm!!

Sorry not food porn from tonight, Chops was already done and we had the same items, and I did not bring the camera to MDR.

After dinner we all went to see Come Fly With Me, a very entertaining show with some dancing, singing, acrobatics and stunt work. A MUST to see, but I have to say I enjoyed Blue Planet on the Allure a little better.

After the show a nightcap in Central Park and then I took out the camera to take some pictures of the Boardwalk late at night. I have to say that these two pictures are in my top favorites of this review. Please post what was your favorite pictures of this review.

I have always wanted to do that. Could you please send me the name of your travel agent at gborrun at gmail dot com.

Hi Warriorprincess,

Thanks so much for the compliment on the review. The All Access tour was really fun!

Phenomenal review and pictures! I have a million and one things I need to do -- like unpack from my cruise last week and get the laundry done, but since I very unexpectedly booked the Oasis for Nov. 29th, I find myself engrossed in CC!

I'm obsessed with getting two spaces on the All Access tour...good to know it's available on-line before the cruise.

Camara, lens, filters?

Hi Sunlovers,

I have a Nikon D7100 and use an 18-200 lens. No filters, except a ND filter for the zoom shot in this review

Thanks for reading the review and posting.

Hi Cindy,

glad you liked the review. When you do your pre-cruise planning, go to "onboard activities" and the All Access Tour should be listed there. Oh, and don't feel to bad about being engrossed in CC, I am also always reading threads to get ideas..

Great review. Have sailed the Allure once' date=' but first time on Oasis this May 10. One question, who's the Cruise Director on the Oasis?

Thanks,[/quote']

Hi Croozin' nut

Love your name! Thanks for reading my review and posting. Our Cruise Director was Drew Devine

Caneguy:

Thank you for your wonderful review.

Where do you sign up for the ATT airtime you mentioned?

Go Canes!(class of 71)

Hi Ginopingoly,

I called ATT and told them I was on the Oasis. Got set up with ATT rep and had it set up for billing just when I was on the Oasis. Real easy.

They have it for most RCC ships

GO CANES!!

DAY 3 CON'T

Well, our friends and their daughters wanted some sushi for lunch so we skipped my favorite lunch THE TUTTI SALAD BAR IN THE MDR and went to Izumi for lunch

Lunch is somewhat scaled down at Izumi, there is no Hot Rock selection but if you want some Sushi, it was wonderful. So now at Izumi they do not charge the $10 cover for either lunch or dinner. Miso soup and Endename are complimentary with either lunch or dinner. My wife who does not eat Sushi enjoyed a well made vegetable roll and the Miso soup (then went to the MDR for that TUTTI SALAD!). Everyone else in our group had a variety of Sushi and enjoyed them all.

After lunch I walked around some more and took the picture everyone takes while on either the Oasis or the Allure..

Then I thought, let's have some fun and be a little creative.. not exactly what I had in mind, but interesting none the less..

Thanks so much for reading and enjoying the review, and the props on the pictures.

I use a Nikon D7100 with an 18-200 telephoto lens, no filters on any pictures except for the zoom shot and I used a Neutral Density filter (ND) to slow down the shutter speed.

BTW, I did an Allure review from our trip last year... allure 1-6-13 with pictures

You will LOVE the Allure, Enjoy your cruise!!

Thanks for posting your review. Enjoyed reading it on this Good Friday with nothing to do at work. Why do they make us come in on Fridays before a holiday? Everybody surfing the net. LOL!!

Now to go and find your Allure review to help me knock out this last 1 1/2 hours. LOL!!
