unless everyone has sailed all the sips and are referring to cruise ships as opposed to an excursion on an expedition there can be no consensus.

 

One cannot compare a cruising experience of 10, 15, or even 20 years ago to one in the last few years on one of the cruise ships still in the fleet.

 

Our favourite ship used to be Century but now we prefer Constellation but we also love the 14 night itinerary of Eclipse. Having sailed on all three in the last three months, I would love the friendliness of the master and crew on Century, the configuration of Constellation and the itinerary of Eclipse.

 

I want to design the next X ship.

 

 

Hi Arno, we seem to be in the minority on how wonderful Century

is and her Captain too:D.......you 2 have sailed many more times

than I have but still have been on all the ships......someone said

Century loses? Not in my opinion........

 

Century was always my favorite and then I started sailing Mercury

and she became my favorite. So they are 1 and 1A for me.:)

Summit would be 1B....LOL......I remember when I thought the M

class would be too big for me....yea, right. Then S class came out

and I even enjoy them now....I know smaller ships will probably never

be in my future (luxury lines are just too much $$$ for me).

Keep it simple. Out of the Celebrity ships you have been on, rank them, with "1" being the best.

Can only speak of the Eclipse. If it's better on other Celebrity ships, those must be some seriously great cruises,as ours was fantastic. It was an inside stateroom as well. Only being in the Grills on the QM2 was better overall.
