It was really tough deciding but here is our rank order for the =X= ships on which we have sailed:

1. CENTURY

1. CONNIE

1. ECLIPSE

1. MILLIE

In short we liked 'em all and would sail on any of them again in a heartbeat!!!!

;):D;)

1. Solstice

2. Reflection

3. Silhouette

4. Millenium

5. Summit

We'll be adding Infinity to this list in fall. We haven't been on the other X ships, but hope to add them to our list in the future.

I agree with an earlier poster that opinions are affected by itinerary and fond memories, no matter how you try to focus just on the ship part.

I really liked the older ships. Zenith was my favorite. Horizon was a close second.

Keeping to the ships presently in service. I have also been on the Galaxy twice. It was okay. With the exception of the Infinity, I would gladly sail on any of the Celebrity ships again. Infinity, although it looks very nice, is not run as well as other Celebrity ships.

1. Eclipse

2. Silhouette

3. Millenium

4. Century

5. Summit

6. Infinity

Not quite down under but in Asia. She's on her way from China to Japan and then to Vancouver by May.

I don't see a consensus here.

unless everyone has sailed all the sips and are referring to cruise ships as opposed to an excursion on an expedition there can be no consensus.

One cannot compare a cruising experience of 10, 15, or even 20 years ago to one in the last few years on one of the cruise ships still in the fleet.

Our favourite ship used to be Century but now we prefer Constellation but we also love the 14 night itinerary of Eclipse. Having sailed on all three in the last three months, I would love the friendliness of the master and crew on Century, the configuration of Constellation and the itinerary of Eclipse.

I want to design the next X ship.

I suspect that people's ratings of ship is colored by the specific cruise itinerary to some degree. Of course, the crew and staff are key. However, we have been on four Infinity cruises and found that there is considerable turnover in staff and crew. You can easily cruise the same ship and one year later have few of the same crew and staff on the next cruise.

1. Zenith

2. Mercury

3. Connie

4. Eclipse

5. Century

6. Reflection

My picks were for different reasons. The Zenith was my very first Celebrity cruise and I still love the line.

I have met lasting friends on the Mercury and have sailed with them on the Eclipse, Century and Reflection. Our group gets larger each year.:D Many more friends to make in the coming years.
