Tutontow Posted May 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Do they still offer a certain drinks menu in the bar and get a match play at a table? Thanks They did on the Legend the week of 4/27/2014 BTW It looks like Carnival has really stepped up to the plate for the gamblers. I won't go into a dissertation on it but I will say we got $1000.00 in cash just for taking the cruise. We had a meet in greet with the casino hosts. It was top shelf with at least 12 servers running around with trays of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, can you say panko crusted prawns. Plus an open bar. We also received gifts every night courtesy of the casino, things like embroidered beach towels, a free steakhouse meal with two bottles of wine, strawberries and champagne, free drinks in the casino and last but not least a free inside cabin on any cruise between 5 and 8 days as long as we sail before 6/30/2014. centrevillemom Posted May 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2014 Is there a limit on how many you can have? Can the drinks be bought anywhere on the ship? And how much is the match play for? Thanks in advance.
dolphinmus Posted May 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2014 I'd like to know this as well. Is the match play good for slots? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
okgirl Posted May 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2014 Any classic cocktail that you purchase at any bar will get you a match play ticket if you turn it in at the cash cage. You have to ask for your receipt now, since they have quit automatically printing a receipt. You can even get match play for drinks ordered through the Cheers program. Don't let them tell you that they don't pay out on $0.00 receipts, you paid for your drinks up front. You cannot get match play for comped drinks from the Players Club, because those really are free drinks. You can accumulate your match play cards and use them all while on the ship, give them away or save them for the next cruise. They are not ship or guest specific. No limit, yes they can be purchased anywhere just be sure to get your receipt and the match is for what ever dollar amount you are betting. So $5 at the Blackjack table with a match play ticket is actually a $10 bet. I'd like to know this as well. Is the match play good for slots? Sent from my iPhone using Forums No, match play is only good for certain table games.
newbiecruiser-texas Posted May 5, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 5, 2014 silly question - but let's say you have collected about $50 in receipts for drinks - do you take that to the blackjack table and use them (the actual receipts) as your bet? or do i need to take the receipts to the cashiers cage and trade for chips??? sailor_jimc Posted May 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) Aside from the Classic collection, drinks purchased in the comedy club performances should get a stamp on the receipt for a match play ticket too... Djford75 Posted May 5, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 5, 2014 Can match play be used at the roulette table? On the outside?
vettecruiser1 Posted May 5, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 5, 2014 You take you classic cocktail reciept to the casino cage and they will stamp it and hand you a match play card. You take the match play card to the table game you want to use it on. I usually take my reciepts in bunches and get a few cards at a time.
newbiecruiser-texas Posted May 5, 2014 #13 Share Posted May 5, 2014 thank you for answering my question!
