Acrylic nails on board

Hi all, two questions for the Diva girls here. RCCL liberty Does the spa offer Acrylic and gel nails in the event we have breakage. Also is there any place in spa that does spray tan as we are not sun worshippers and prefer the safe glow.

They do offer nail services, BUT at at least double the price you pay at home plus 18%tip and results were questionable for me.

 

Spray tan don't know about, see above and consider getting it done at home before you leave..;)

The prices that I have from last year on the Explorer were:

Acrylic Full set $85 Refills $45

14 day no chip manicure 45 min $50

Nail fix $15

 

I did not see anything for spray tans.

 

I had a Gel manicure and the Gel was applied so thick that it created a rather large bubble. So, I have to agree that results can be questionable especially when you consider the price. I went back and the girl redid the nail polish.

No gel nails. They may have gel polish.

I really don't know of any one that bakes in the sun anymore....other than my DH.

 

But I wouldn't advise getting any kind of spray tan DURING a vacation. You never know how your skin type may react and you could run the risk of turning orange or not getting desired results until day before your vacation ends.

 

I have used every fake tanner they sell and my favorite is Banana Boat. I love it!

 

But even that should be tried out a good week or two before your cruise.

Have it done at home. It will be half the price and they will do a better job.

I don't know about the Liberty but I have had fills and polish changes for my Acrylic nails on several ships and have

Sorry I have trouble with this phone! I actually had the same tech on a couple of ships. I was surprised but I was quite happy with the results. I had the fills on long cruises. But, of course you can't schedule accidental breaks. It is pricey so I wouldn't recommend doing it on the ship if you can do it at home.

On my last cruise on the Explorer, i had my nails done the day before we left. My gel started to lift and I went up to the salon and they repaired it at no charge.

Just an fyi that a spray tan is going to look AWEFUL AND RIDICULOUS by day three if you go in any pool or hot tub!
