Monica on the Pearl

She was on in May and, I have to say, didn't come away with the same feelings some have about her. She seemed to only care about those in the Haven and pretty much ignored some in the lowly penthouses. Hope she is not there when I'm on the Pearl again in November and if she is and I get the same treatment, this time there will be no tip.

I had Monica last September and it was her first Cruise on the Pearl. We were in an Aft Suite and she was very nice to us. She personaly escorted DH and I off the Pearl instead of waiting for others. She went out of her way to invite us to a Tour of the Bridge. When I have been in the Owners Suite I was not given more attention. Perhaps she just has bad days because a fellow Cruise Buddy had her on the Sun and they were not impressed but they were just on the Pearl in a Balcony and were afraid they would not make their Plane Flight and they found her and she escorted them off. Pretty nice Huh!

Oh I wish all had the same experience we had with Monica...on the Jewel in 2011...she bent over backwards for us...even coming to our cabin to tuck in our DD when she was over tired...she was inconsolable... until Monica showed up....

We had Monica on the Pearl in December of 2013 in an AFT PH suite. She was awesome the whole way through. I never felt like we got less attention that passengers in the Haven, but then I guess I don't know what kind of attention they got. :)

Yes, Monica proved herself to be one of the best for us. As we were only in a Mini Suite cabin and not a full suite, she still went out of her way and escorted us off the ship so we could make a flight after customs held up the ships disembarkation in Miami. Hope we get a chance to sail with her again!

We were on the Pearl in March. Our 10th cruise in a suite and she did nothing for us. We Never saw her until the last day to get her tip. It was my first time I did not tip anything. I came home and wrote NCL, they responded imediately. We are in the Owners Suite on our next cruise and they are making sure we are treated well. Everyone can have a bad cruise, usually she gets wonderful reviews.

We had Monica on the Sun last year, and we loved her. We were in a penthouse suite. She was always available in Il Adagio each morning during the suites breakfast time in case we needed her for anything. Often she stopped by our table to talk. On the last morning we had to hunt her down to give her our tip.

I got you beat. I put her tip on my shipboard account a few days prior to disembarkation and during disembarkation, I was invisible to her, she didnt even acknowledge that I was alive. To add insult to injury, she came over to the two gentlemen I was sitting with and escorted them off, leaving me with my thumb somewhere. Never again, if there is no acknowledgment and professionalism, then no tip what so ever.

Monica was never in Cagney's during the breakfasts and lunches I had there. Such a difference from John on the Jewell who was always around asking if anyone needed anything. Needless to say he got a great tip from me, even though I really did not use his services.
