I just booked the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel and Casino for 4 people ; 2 beds, 1 room for $109 a night on a hotel . Com website. My family and I are staying there pre cruise. Thought I pass along the deal. I had a previous reservation for the Hilton Double Tree but thought the Sheraton had a better location. Hope I made the right choice.

That's a great hotel in old San Juan right across from where some of the ships dock. We've stayed there and really enjoyed it.

What date did you book for? We're looking at January 2015 and the prices are pretty steep.

The price was up to $247 a night when I checked the prices again today.

We were looking for Jan 2015 too.....prices are really dependent on time of year/month travelling. Plus the Sheraton OSJ has a 2 nite minimum for Jan 2015 when we are looking so not even an option!

I was watching on it hotels.com to see when the price changed. Put in your date and keep an eye on it. I had never seen it that low before, plus it did allow you to book a single nights stay. Good luck, I'm always out to find a bargain.

Hotels in SJ are always pricey in January. Plus, the Festival is the weekend of the 18th. Tough to even find a hotel for that weekend and the prices are much higher. We're doing Embassy Suites before and Airport Hotel after. Neither were cheap.
