What are you going to do on your next cruise

We have been going on a cruise to Mexico every year for the last few years and even though the ports are the same ,we manage to do something different each time both on board the ship and on shore!

I am not quite sure what we'll do this time but things we haven't done yet that are on my list include:

ordering room service

parasailing

singing Karaoke instead of just listening

Just to name a few.

 

Riff parasailing can not be beat...

 

We will be cruising in August my 15 y/o will turn 16 I am really bad at keeping secrets so this is one I am keeping he will not know until we board the shuttle and then when we go to board the ship there will be a group of family and friends with us. the one thing I am going to do is tea time I have never done it and also this will be the first time I have cruised with my mom she normally only goes with my sister...

This cruise is a lot of firsts. First time in Miami. First time on a Conquest class ship. First time going to the eastern Caribbean.

 

I think the biggest thing is that it's the first time we're staying a night after the cruise since we're sailing on Saturday. We're going to do a cocktail Art Deco tour in Miami before going back to the real world.

Taking my mom on her first cruise. She retired 13 years ago & 6 months later became my dad's caretaker 24/7. He passed away in April, she really needs a vacation.

I'm going to eat at the Steakhouse. I always make reservations for it, but end up cancelling when I'm on board, figuring the $35 charge is not worth it. But this time I'm going to keep my reservation and enjoy my meal at the Steakhouse! :) I'm also going to use the gym! :p And lastly, I plan to play in the casino for the first time. Seeing all these casino deals people are getting, I need to get in on that action! :D

First time out of FLL and first time on the Freedom.

First time to all four ports: St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Grand Turk

First time to snorkel...this will be our 5th cruise but we've yet to snorkel...shame, huh? :D

First time cruising with a GoPro (DH's Father's Day and birthday present).

Next cruise (fingers crossed) will be in November, and will be the first cruise since 2010. So I am looking forward to;

 

Hopefully going to do teatime. Have never done that before, and if it still exists, I plan on doing this.

 

Going to order the Blt and the chocolate cake from room service that folks rave about.

 

Going to enjoy Blue Iguana Cantina for first time, and know I will like that. I will probably check out Guys burger just to see what it is like, but I am not a burger fan, but have to try it once.

 

Going to see a playlist production for the first time. I have not heard anything good about them, but need to see one for myself and decide. Also going to see a Comedian show for the first time. I will go for the "family rated" show though. I am bored by vulgarity, so family show for me.

 

Will probably try something a the Alchemy bar, though the ingredients just seem weird to me, but must try it once.

 

Going to see San Juan properly this time. Last time there, 10 years ago, we got in late, and tours were cancelled, so only a few hours to wander around in the dark...this time there all day, so will take a tour, and have a bite to eat at a restaurant and try some puerto rican food.

 

Will enjoy the serenity deck as much as possible.

 

Will also enjoy my OV room, as apposed to the usual inside or porthole when I cruise solo.

 

I have a long list.....

We did the Yukon Green jeep tour our of Skagway. We were the only people on the tour and theses are the best pictures from all my trips we have taken . We stopped several times along the way to photo ops and learning about the history. I do believe you will enjoy this excursion.

Good to know. It's significantly more than my original Avis reservation, so I started to worry that I made a mistake. Not that a Jeep over a mid-sized car isn't already a better choice, right?! :rolleyes: :)

I am going to swim with the rays for the first time while in Grand Turk. I also want to get up early and photograph a sunrise on a sea day. I may also order room service for the first time (been on 5 cruises, but have never gotten room service). This will also be my first opportunity to try the 2.0 upgrades like Guy's burgers, Blue Iguana, etc, since I will be on the Sunshine in 55 days.

Since this is our first time on the Breeze and with the 8 night itinerary there are ALOT of things "new" we are going to do on this cruise.....

Mexican restaurant _maybe even a breafast buritto

We are in a SPA room this cruise so we will be indulging in the full Cloud 9 SPA experience without having to pay for it!!

Visiting 4 new ports we have never been to (which is odd seeing that this will be our 30th cruise!!!) St Maarten , St Kitts, San Juan, Grand Turk

And this is our first 8 night cruise (other then doing a back to back which added up to 8 nights as well)
