I was just assigned the exact same cabin too. Sailing August 23rd and new to NCL. Any other information about standard balconies would be appreciated. Have only said on DCL.

Wow the week before ours! You should definitely post when u see your room on here before you sail away! Really wish it wasn't connecting

Looking at the deck plans, it looks like that particular cabin would have the couch by the balcony.

How can you tell by the deck plans where the bed is?? We are also sailing on August 23rd.

Looking forward to the Getaway

We just got off the Getaway and had connecting balcony cabins. One of them had the couch by the balcony, the other room the setup was flipped with the couch by the closet, near the door to the hallway.

If the deck plan has the larger part (bump out)by the balcony the bed is by the balcony,if it is not then the bed is by the closet.

Just spent last week, August 23-30 in Cabin 13118. It is an adjoining cabin but did not hear any noise from its connecting cabin at all. The couch is closer to the sliding door. Bed is right up against the closet. Very small balcony. Two chairs and a table big enough to put one full size plate on. 13118 is very far forward on the ship. Only a few cabins are in front of it. It is a very long walk to the elevator and stairs. This is both a negative and positive. Since almost everything on this ship is mid or aft, you will be walking a lot. It was a very quiet cabin though, because only a few people walked that far forward for anything. Felt very little movement or vibration in this room. I think that is very impressive considering where it was. No rattles, no noises either. If anyone has any specific questions about this cabin, please ask.
