To Tux or not to to Tux ?

Hi All , we are on the Millie 5th Sept. Seaward to Vancouver, wondering if it's worth bringing my Tux . I don't mind dressing up ( Wife loves to ) will I be in minority . ? Cheers

Yes, you'll probably be in a minority, but you won't be alone. We had some Tux'ed up, some in suits, some just nice slacks/shirt. No problems anywhere we saw :-)

We have taken 6 cruises on the Millennium and I would say that we have only seen a handful of tuxes worn on formal nights. DH has decided he will no longer do tux anymore and has opted to go with suit and tie instead.

Thanks all , will stick with suit its a bit lighter than Tux , and will keep baggage weight down as we fly from Ireland .

Keep the baggage weight down even lower...don't bother to bring your suit jacket...really not necessary especially in Alaska.

Very few tuxes are worn by passengers on Celebrity Alaska cruises.

But if you enjoy wearing your tux and want to bring it, by all means do.

You'll see several dressed up (don't know about dressed up as much as in a tux) but you'll see far more who are in casual dress. Just be comfy!
