Thanks for letting us know.

I got one prevously from AARP that I am using on our Aug. 9 Alaska Legend and just two $500 for our upcoming Premier Cruise tbd.

And I am ALL Verizon users know this but just in case you can use your Verizon points to book a discounted cruise (more than all of the websites) on Carnival & RCL.

We booked a Spa deck balcony for a New Years Cruise on the Magic out of Galveston last year for less than the cost of a Cove Balcony.

I had no idea there were cruise discounts with Verizon rewards! My type of stateroom isn't listed because it's sold out,but I will remember next time. Thanks so much!

Wow, I had no idea you can use your Verizon points to book the cruise!

Anyone knows how does it work? I mean you book the cruise through the Verizon website and the points will be applied automatically?

Update: Answered my own question: the amount depends on the cabin and is shown under the price of the cruise.

Thanks! I seen them a few months ago and didn't think about purchasing them then. And until today I hadn't seen them on there recently.

Thank you. I've been checking every day. Even checked this morning and they weren't there. Final payment due 7/3. Any idea how long they take to come in the mail?

Thank you.

I asked my travel agent about the gift cards. She didn't know anything about them. She said as long as they work the same as a credit card she can apply them toward my cruise balance.

I want to order some but I am worried because I haven't used them before. Do they work like a credit card with your travel agent?

Thanks for any help you can give!!

I have used several of the gift cards with my travel agent. I just call him, and give him the numbers on the cards. He send me a confirmation email. I had no problems. Since I found this thread, I paid my cruises off with gift cards.

Just got $400 worth thanks for letting us know

What do you end up saving? There is a .59 cent fee for each $100 card and then sales tax on top of that?

I feel nickle and dimed just trying to save 10% which comes out to what? 6%?

I bought $1000 worth today and fees/shipping were $2.18. So actually the savings is about 9.78%. For our cruises in July and January we've accumulated about $4,500 worth to cover paying off cruise and use for onboard expenses. So basically we've got about $450 in free money. That makes it well worth it to me.
