Sky Suites aft corner - any deck better?

We have stayed in one on deck 10 and while it didn't bother us too much there is window cleaning equipment at that level parked at the side of the balcony. There is some noise from this as the ship moves.

On the Reflection the window washing equipment is on deck 11 (and deck 12 has the café with potential for scraping chairs above it, though is covered). We had 1214 on deck 10 on the Reflection and absolutely loved it. It was extremely private and quiet.

We are in a corner aft suite on the Silhouette in May - 1668 on deck 11. I am wondering if anyone knows if the Silhouette and the Reflection are exactly the same. I don't think I want that great 180º view to be obstructed by window washing equipment! We were in the same suite one deck above on the Equinox last October and we decided to move down one deck for this upcoming cruise because of the noise from the scraping chairs above. We are far enough out that we can change our cabin if necessary. Thank you for any information you can share.

We were in 8340 on deck 8 of the Silhouette in March 2014. We love "aft wraps" but the S-Class ships don't quite "wrap" as much as some ships so the forward view is limited.

Folks are correct about the S1's on Silhouette deck 10 (1202 & 1405) the window washing equipment might be an issue for some people

Window washing equipment didn't seem to be a problem on any other deckIMG_0179.JPG

This thread provides a good overview of S-Class S-1's http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1751328

Reflection is a bit different than the other S-class ships. Our order of preference in general for the corner aft S1s has been:

11, 8/9, 7, 6, 10, 11.

The differences on Reflection are stated above.

Happy sailing,

Jenna

Need to know if anyone has travelled in the S1 cabin # 1665 on the Reflection? It is different because of the added Aqua Suites on deck 12. My question, is the window washing machine located outside this cabin and was your view obstructed? Would appreciate your replies, thanks. (cabin is not on the S Class spread sheets).
