amandajean06 Posted September 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I read in a review that balcony and suite guests are automatically offered a beach cabana for stops at CocoCay. Anyone know if this is the case? Anything special that you have to do to secure it? We are sailing 3/22 on the Enchantment OTS. Thanks!

As soon as you board go to the concierge. The cabanas used to be offered on line also. I would call RC about 4 months before the cruise to see if you can book over the phone. BlueSkySailing Posted September 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Full Suite guest get first dibs. Everyone else is a first come first serve when dealing with CocoCay. Happy Sailing!!!!
Clarea Posted September 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Not complimentary.
Rare LMaxwell Posted September 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Not only not complimentary, but no discount, just first offered. We were in a Cabana on CocoCay. Honestly...NEVER again. The upgraded lunch was great but the huts are extremely stifling and not even a ceiling fan. The only way to cool down was to leave the hut, it's a sweat box. Consider that before booking one. Thanks for this info...I have read multiple reviews and people just raved about them. I was wondering if there was any sun exposure or loungers with the cabana. How much do they even charge? Balcony, inside, oceanview.....all the same when it comes to the first come, first served sign-up. So unless you have a suite, you'll need to pre-book (if that's even avaialble) or go to the desk immediatly upon boarding to get your name on the list. I wasn't impressed with the looks of the Cabanas at Coco Cay. We did rent one on Princess Cay in Eleuthera and it was fantastic, but Coco Cay's were not in a very inviting location for us. cb at sea Posted September 9, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2014 There are PLENTY of trees for shade...no real need for a cabana!
