Queen Mary2 2016 world cruise

Just posted this on the Cunard board and thought I would add it to the world cruising message board

 

Planning to go on the 120 day round trip from NYC world cruise on QM2 in 2016

 

Was on the QM2 two times -- in 2008 back to back Transatlantic and then again in Oct 2012 for the New England/Canada sailing

 

I have not posted on cruise critic in years but thought it would be nice to share this experience with others and of course the planning stages

I read on the message boards that AAA offers free large paper world maps. So I ordered two . One I put on my home office wall and the other I will take with me on the QM2 in 2016

Yes, I used an AAA map on my QV World Voyage this year. Make sure you take some magnets to hold the map on your cabin wall.

 

I also received a map from the cruise line one of the first days of the cruise. It had our route marked out. I had all the captains and staff sign it. Another great cheep souvenir.
