Nassau 7am-2pm

We will be in Nassau on the allure of the seas from 7 am to 2 pm at the end of March 2015. This seems like a worthless stop to me, but what is there to do for this short time and this early in the day? We will have two 14 year olds with us, and spending the money for a beach day at Atlantis doesn't really seem worth it. Any suggestions? I read in another post that the shopping isn't really that great either. Is there a beach we can walk to by the port? Thanks in advance!

if you walk past senior frogs the Hilton has a beach and just a few mins walk past that is Esplande Beach. Both are an easy walking distance from the ship

Day passes start at 9am. Pools open at 9 also. Patio Bar and Grill doesn't open until 11am. Kitchen opens at 11:30am

We are on the Oasis there in November 2014. We booked Blue Lagoon. there is a review somewhere on Cruise critic with tons of pictures. As my 12 yr old said ' there is a wipeout section' - inflatable water toys (tramps, slides, etc). I think he will love it.

Just curious what you decided? We have the same short stop in Nassau and am wondering the same (but our kids are younger than yours)
