cruisebore Posted September 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Thos Cook are currently in the throes of converting them to 2-4-2 This could possibly be the reason why you can only book seats 9 weeks before flying. Cb
BRITBEAR Posted September 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2014 We are flying with them back from Barbados in November & have booked our seats it is 2-4-
richleeds Posted September 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Looks like the new cabin officially launches in economy in December so yes they will start converting the aircraft any time now so some flights will have it others not. The new premium economy launches March 2015.

FreestyleNovice Posted September 27, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2014 99% of all Airbus A332(A330) are 333 configuration Any source? A330's are rarely 9 abreast.. Would say 99% is 2-4-2 instead. :)
richleeds Posted September 27, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Any source? A330's are rarely 9 abreast.. Would say 99% is 2-4-2 instead. :) Here is the current 3-3-3 A330 layout for TC that's been in service years, think Monarch also have this layout and Air Asia, but like you say 2-4-2 is the norm Edited September 27, 2014 by richleeds typo

jeanlyon Posted September 28, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 28, 2014 We flew back Virgin from Dubai after a Fred cruise. I had booked my seats online. When we got to the airport, we were told you cannot sit together. I told them I had booked seats, but I later found out that as our TA had not reconfirmed our seats, we had lost them. They did find us 3 together, but it was only after a prolonged argument.
