April 12 vs April 26

I'm booking today! I keep going back & forth between dates. I can't decide. I need to book & be done with it. We are doing 7 nights out of N.O. Taking my mom on her first cruise! Do you think there will be more Spring breakers on the first one? Of course I want to go on the one that's the soonest :)

IMO the first date will have more "spring breakers"

Most Texas schools are in March; looking at Louisiana for you just now it appears some of the schools SB is April 4-11. I think if you are wanting to avoid SB you should go with the April 26 date.

That's the one I was originally going with! I just noticed that now they are the same price. I guess I will stick with it though. I want her first cruise to be enjoyable. I know wild people can be on any cruise.

Oh no! I never even thought of spring break when I booked our April cruise! I associate spring break with March, not April. I was looking forward to a less than full to capacity cruise.

I pick the second one, April 26th...because it's my birthday and SOMEONE should be enjoying a cruise that day (unfortunately it's not me, booo)

im not sure about america but all canadian universitys and colleges will out for the summer by the april 26th date. april 12th will be right in the middle of final exams for all canadian post secondary students. have fun.
