Panama Canal Cruise Excursions

My wife and I are doing the 15 night eastbound Panama Canal cruise aboard the Infinity departing November 19, 2014. We are interested in doing some excursions, especially in Guatemala. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, P & F

Do they offer an excursion to the city of Antigua in Guatemala? I highly recommend that. If you don't want to do a ship's excursion, look whether they offer the bus transport. It's too long and traffic too unpredictable to do on your own.

 

A really expensive excursion is the flight to the Mayan ruins of Tikal. We did that from the Caribbean side.

We really enjoyed Antigua, Guatemala and Cartagena, Columbia.
