It's interesting, because my next sailing (10-day AK, May 2015 on the Pearl) went up quite a bit on 10/1 - but has since come back down halfway.

Pre-10/1, it had settled in around $879/pp for an inside. On 10/1, it went up to $1079/pp for an inside. Now it's back down to $979/pp for the same. That's straight pricing, no Latitudes discounts.

I was fortunate to get in on a great price when I booked, so this sale is about a wash for me.

NCL jacked up prices right before the Perfect 10 sale. See **********. Shame on them.

 

Can you send me a link or proof of price increase. I have been communicating with Kevin Sheehan CEO of NCL about the increases. I can quote him numbers about cruises I was considering in 2015, but unfortunately I didn't print a copy of the pricing. I really wish I had but didn't see this so called 10% sale coming.

My cruise is currently $3869 tax and port inclusive before the 10% Obc. They calculate $337 for Obc. So about $3530 is the current cost for 3 in an inside cheapo cabin. Of course $3869 is what one would have to actually shell out anyway and use the Obc for onboard stuff that they might never have done in the first place

My cruise has varied in price between $2150 to $3150 tax and port inclusive with a $25 ncl obc and a $50 ta obc since the kids sail free deal in July

I am following these prices religiously and I assure you the highest price is the current promo price of $3869 which I never saw before until this new promo started. Hmmm. Just sayin

Hi: I just checked the price for our cruise on 11/15 and the price was $100 more than when I booked it..We already have a $100 onboard credit so it doesn't pay for us to cancel and rebook..Funny that NCL would raise the prices and then give 10%. Just goes to show you how helpful Cruise Critic is and how careful you have to be when booking..You really have to watch the prices and don't accept the first one you get. Enjoy your cruise.

Google fishing for a cruise btw my cabin is up to $4299 from $3499 for Next August (though I did not pay that due to CAS). Edited October 7, 2014 by iimmie

I was contacted by Travel Specialist from Luxury Cruises Connections as I was researching pricing for NCL. He offered the same pricing but double the OLC. It was $1,500, he also claimed he could beat Princess rates also with the 1,500 OLC.

I have been on 7 cruises and always used the cruise company consultant. Have I been missing an opportunity? Does anyone have any comments or warning about using a 3rd party to book cruises?9
