Who's done 8-day Southern on Sunshine?

I'm LOOKING at the 8 day Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk. Main concern is 3 ports in 8 days. I enjoy sea days as much as anyone….but 4 sea days on the Sunshine?? I don't just know….

 

Looking for comments from those that HAVE been aboard the Sunshine on one of the 8-day 3-port cruises.

We are on a southern on the Sunshine in July too but we go to Curaçao not Bonaire. 3 ports, 8 days. We LOVE sea days!

I will be following this thread. I am also thinking about booking this itinerary. I am worried about going on a smaller ship. I've never sailed Carnival and have only sailed on bigger ships. I love sea days and the ports are fantastic. Surely, there is something to do on Sunshine for four glorious sea days.

Don't get me wrong…I LOVE sea days….on the right ship. If this itinerary would have been aboard the Ruby Princess this would be a non-issue.

Doing this cruise also in March....love the sea days..been to most ports but never Bonaire ..looking forward to it!!

Going on same itinerary on Sunshine in FEB. Chose this due to all new ports AND love the idea of four sea days. Had three sea days on other cruise (was on a different ship) with no problem at all. In fact, in 2011 with an 8 day cruise we made it into a four sea days as we never got off in Nassau.

Did this itinerary last June on the Liberty liked it so much doing it again in December on the Sunshine.

Doing this itinerary on the Valor next spring. Can't imagine a smaller ship though like the Sunshine.

Four Sea Days........and we have done this trip three times...Not all on Carnival. But on Carnival and Princess. Princess had three.

 

Lots of Trivia on both. Loved that. Lots of time in the casino..when you wanted to go. Lots of time to read. Lots of time to nap. Lots of Time to go to Tea. Loved that. Lots of time to feel rested enought to catch the productions and/comedy shows. Lots of time to not answer the phone. Or e-mails. I love all of those Islands. Bonaire. Aruba Cureso. But the Sea Days............I love them as much.
