Can you PLEASE...Pretty Please collect & post the Daily Compasses. The only ones floating around on here are older!

Enjoy the Cruise!!

Thanks!

That is the plan. I've got a folder and I've stashed away copies of Day 1 and 2 as well as other miscellaneous papers we had in the cabin when we arrived.

Oh, wow... That's fantastic! I got confirmation from friends at home that we were seen on the camera, and given the delays on our own mobile devices, we figured the camera would zoom out by then. I'll probably buy the sail away video from the port webcam after I get home to keep a copy along with the Cruise in Review DVD that I'll be getting.

Good morning, and welcome to Day 2 aboard the lovely Allure of the Seas!

I tried to get online and post an update before going to bed last night, but the wifi wasn't cooperating. It's better now, so here I am! :)

Boarding the ship went smoothly. We were the first Diamonds in line, so we got to board pretty early. That was great, of course!

The first stop was to the excursions desk to ask them to arrange our group's cabanas so that we're all together. Since we got six of the over-the-water cabanas, it'd be nice if we could be kept as a group. I'm sure that other cabana users would appreciate that, too! :D

Then about 24 of us went to Giovanni's Table. They accommodated us as a group at three tables (2 x 10 and 1 x 4) and the service was fantastic. The food was okay... I didn't want to overindulge, but I did ask for two desserts. :)

After muster, we all headed up to the public balcony at the end of deck 11. Most of us have cabins in this area, and among our group, we've been claiming #occupydeck11 as a group meme. The public balcony is great, and having it so close by is a boon for our group. It'll be a shame if it goes away when Allure goes into drydock next year.

The sail away there was nearly perfect. The only hitch was that we got splashed from water spilling over from the upper deck. We ended up deciding that it was probably from the Flowrider with someone showing off and splashing a lot from up there. At least that's what we hope it was.

The luggage arrived during sail away. I got changed into long pants and headed to the dining room on deck 4 for dinner. I usually choose My Time Dining, but the group of us has early dining together. It felt warm in the dining room (several of us commented on that), and I felt kind of packed in tightly. I didn't like that. Fortunately, tonight's dinner is Samba Grill. That's going to be fantastic, I'm sure!

After dinner, Bryan and I had some Diamond-vouchered drinks in Schooner Bar. We got excellent service from Ni. I suspect we'll be going there regularly after dinner.

Next up was the casino to check on my Club Royale rebate. Apparently, the request for the rebate got lost, so I talked with the host and they're going to contact the Miami office and check on it. I'm sure it'll get resolved today.

Today's plans are Johnny Rockets for breakfast and then the Meet & Mingle. It's scheduled at 9:30 (!) in Dazzles. This is the first time I'm part of the gift exchange at a Royal Caribbean Meet & Mingle. I brought something that I think is special. I hope whoever gets it likes it.

Saw all those purple shirts on the webcam - cool!

Wondering if anyone on board will have an idea regarding to when Dynamic Dining will come to Allure. She is scheduled for dry dock next May.

If you happen to have the opportunity to as the CD or other staff who might know...it would be much appreciated.

We'll be on Allure next year.

Enjoy your cruise - we'll be following this thread. It sounds like you've already started off with plenty of fun.

Is the charge for Giovanni's Table the same for the lunch meal as it is for dinner?

Couple of questions.

Are reservations needed for lunch at Giovani's?

Is unlimited internet available on Allure? Or what internet packages available?

Our eperience was that reservations were not needed for lunch.

Unlimited interet is available, and runs $190 per week for one device at a time.
