Usually right after Thanksgiving.

You will see the decorations going up! Fun times! We will be on Navigator November 30! Looking forward to the decorating! :D

Have sailed several cruises the weekend after Thanksgiving. They start going up over the weekend.

 

It's always fun to return to the ship after a port visit to see what they added during the day. Interesting transformation from when you board to the end of the cruise.

The decorations are great when we board the ship (last year on Brilliance the bar staff had a Christmas tree made out of empty Heineken bottles in the entrance to the Schooner bar:)), it's just that new year's day they start dismantling everything:(

Cruising over the holidays is a fantastic experience. As you can see by my sig, we have done it frequently. The decorations, atmosphere, entertainment, and meals are wonderful. check on the links below in green if you have time.

 

There is always a special ice skating show with a Christmas theme. The one we saw on the Mariner in 2012 was exceptionally nice. Here is a link if anyone is interested.
