Real Ales on Ventura?

Hi fellow Cruisers,

Last time I was on Ventura they had Spitfire and Speckled Hen real ales..Is that still The same please? and what are the current prices? Just asking!

Doubt if they will ever sell "real ale", ie cask conditioned beers, on a cruise ship as the ships motion would prevent it settling.

They still do Speckled Hen in bottles and I can't remember what others.

I've been reliably informed they have Fuller's London Pride. Which is a pretty decent beer in my humble opinion.

Unfortunately not, more like 3.50 pounds.

It was £3.50 last week on Oriana, for London Pride, Speckled Hen and Pedigree. Some others as well but not sure which ones.

All the ships tend to have the same. They are getting more now and different bars are having different draught beers.

Do you want them cold or room temp? Ia ask because if you have a preference just have a word with the bar men.

Usually they are stored in a cold place but if you ask for a bottle at room temperature, they seem to have no problem finding one. Why they serve ales cold as the norm, I have no idea!
