Quick question On Sea Princess, an Australian base ship, do they offer the liquor package and if so is it in US or AU $$$ or is it by the drink only

Second I assume drinks are charged in AU $ and include tip in the price so it is not a 15% add. What is the price for a regular beer and say a gintonic?

To your second part -

Yes, charges are in AU$ and tip is included and not added on. About three years ago, on the Dawn Princess drinks like gin & tonic or scotch & water were $7.60. Interesting because the same drink on the US based ships was $4.95 plus 15 % for a total of $5.70.

I haven't seen drinks that cheap in years....used to $6.95+15%+ = $8.00 PER DRINK

IN AU dollars $7.6 converts to $6.68. that's cheap Now what is the measure is it the 0z or like un UK a Gill which is way less.

How about the liquor package?? is it available in Aus.??

From the Princess website:

All Inclusive Beverage Package†

You can now relax and enjoy the convenience of an all inclusive beverage package featuring any drink up to $10 including cocktails, wine, beer, sodas, lattes, cappuccinos, bottled water & more. All for just $49 USD per person per day!

†15% gratuity will be included in addition to the price. Package does not apply to Sun Princess, Sea Princess and Dawn Princess or Diamond Princess and Golden Princess voyages departing from and returning to Australia.

So it looks like you're out of luck. ;)

What was the exchange rate at that time? On Sapphire in October, beer was US$6-84 and G & T US$8 in total which converted to A$8-20 and A$9-40.
