Which side should we choose for our cabin?

For Coral Princess itinerary of Fort Lauderdale to Oranjestad of Aruba, Cartagena, Columbia, and then Panama Canal Cruising, Colon in Panama, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and Orch Rios (Jamaica), before heading back to Fort Lauderdale, is their a better side of the ship to choose our cabin for better viewing enroute as well as in port at the various destinations?

Thank you.

Nope...while at sea, there's water on both sides! In ports, the Captain tries to give each side equal time facing land....but even if you aren't facing the dock, you'll be in a harbor, with many lovely things to see!

Sometimes the ship pulls into dock...sometimes, it backs in...sometimes, there's another ship between you and land....too many variables, and they change for port to port!!

Sorry...but the Captain doesn't take into consideration giving "each side equal time"...where they will dock is pre-determined, but how they dock will be up to the Captain & Harbormaster at the time of docking based on many factor's...and one of them is never going to be the view

I understand how the ship dock is "luck of the draw".

I like Port, but I also like black socks and jocks and each is just because I'm a bit strange.

Yes, I normally like the PORT side better. However, due to the PORT side cabin is directly above the Wheelhouse Bar, I decided to go with the STARBOARD side which will the above the outside corridor of the Lounge. On most nights, we should have no issue with noise until the wee hours, however, we are hoping to retire earlier on the eve before the Panama Canal transit, so that we can rise early the following morning for the MAIN event!

My response was directed specifically to cb at sea. ;)

Enjoy your cruise I'm sure you'll have wonderful views not only from your cabin but throughout the ship :)
