Fire in Oasis

Maybe that mysterious rogue wave that nobody else witnessed other than the guy who went overboard was responsible. Maybe the same rogue wave was actually like that sea creature in the movie "The Abyss" that stretched out, went around corners and pulled the fire alarm:D

 

We were on the Explorer on a repo from Bayonne to Ft Lauderdale when we got hit by thay Rogue wave.It hit about 5 in the morning.There are pictures of the life boat #20 hanging on the side and the area around the Aqua bar was the area where the wave came thru the sliding glass door.That cruise left Bayonne on Nov 1,2014

They actually USED TO mail them at each port. Could even buy the correct postage at GS (was Purser's desk back then) for whatever island they were being mailed from. And now I'm feeling older than anyone here for knowing that! :o

 

Don't feel bad. I remember that, too. It was cool to get the postmark from the different places.
