San Francisco Hotel...help please

Can anyone recommend a hotel in San Franscisco that is close to the cruise port? We will be disembarking there in April and want to spend a couple of days.

All the major chains have hotels in the Fisherman's Wharf area. Pier 35, the cruise ship terminal, is located at the eastern edge of the greater Fisherman's Wharf area.

 

Among them are...

 

Hyatt

Sheraton

Hilton

Radisson

Best Western Tuscan Inn

Holiday Inn

 

Kimpton Boutique hotels also has their Argonaut, a nautically themed hotel located in this area.

Thank you, this is very helpful as I did not even know where the cruise ships dock. Are these hotels within walking distance of the pier?

Assuming you'll have luggage, I would take a cab. But we're not talking long distances here at all. Most are all within 1 to 1 1/2 miles of Pier 35.

And Fisherman's Wharf is a fun area of San Francisco to stay in. Be sure to visit the Sea lions at the Pier.

If you bid three star in the Fishermans Wharf area on Priceline you will be within an easy three or four block walk of the port. We have done this walk several times with lots of luggage and a five year old. Last time DH had to make two trips because we just plain didn't have enough arms!! :D

Thanks Dosi, I did just that and got the Hilton for $107 per night.

I see you already booked I was going to suggest The Argonaut Hotel at the other end of the Wharf area. Really nice area so check it out when you visit.
