luggage tags at dock??

quick question...first time with carnival....are luggage tags available at the pier..paper ones seem very flimsy...thanks::)

Many just print out the flimsy tags then wrap them in clear packing tape. ken

No, you have to print them yourself and attach them before you check in.

 

Here's a tip. After you print and fold them as they show, take some heavy duty, clear packing tape and "laminate" the tag with the tape. This will strengthen the tag more than enough to make it safely to your room.

 

So as not to have to bring tape with you, punch holes in each end of the tag and attach it to your luggage with a zip tie.

I think they do have blank luggage tags at the port to fill out. I have heard people do this especially if they have a guarantee and dont know their room

Yes you can get tags from the porters at the pier.

They do but they are the same paper ones. Some people just laminate them. I just staple them real good and I have never had an issue.

That's not correct. You can get them at the pier. In fact, some people have to get them at the pier because they booked a guarantee and don't know their room number.
