Hi,

We are on Ruby Princess June,14,2015 sailing. Stops in:

Ketchikan

Tracy Arm Fjord

Juneau

Skagway

Traveling with our 25 and 27 year old Children who want some great adventures, not just sitting on a bus or train.

Not opposed to taking non cruise excursions/adventures.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you

JoBeth

What you need to do is read up on your ports...a guidebook is most helpful!...and decide what things/adventures you want to do....THEN, you can decide HOW to do them!!!! A guidebook will detail EVERYTHING about Alaska!!!!!

Here's some of the ones we've done:

Ketchikan: Float plane trip thru Misty Fijords. Haven't done it but I think you can go out on a crab boat (ala Deadliest Catch)

Tracy Arm: Just enjoyed the incredible beauty from the ship

Juneau: Terrific whale watching trip.

Skagway: Our all time favorite excursion - helicopter thru the mountains, landed on a glacier & went dog sledding.

So much to see and do. You're going to have a fantastic time!
