Covered balconies on Coral

Does anyone know what decks have covered balconies, specifically Aloha deck

Try http://www.islandpanama.org. the island and coral are twins at least until island is modified on dry dock this year. This site was invaluable when I booked our upcoming Alaska cruise

Baja deck is covered, deck 11. Stayed on it 3x! Twice on PC cruises and once in AK.

All Baja deck balconies are not covered. ;)

B205 through B219 and B701 and higher are not covered. Our friends changed TAs after they were booked in one of those uncovered balconies.

Personal preference. Some like uncovered some don't.

We prefer covered, but have sailed in both.

Its just nice to know which are and which are not so you are not surprised. ;)

We were in mini suite C717 on Coral. Balcony was big - 3 chairs that reclined, stools for each, and a table. The balcony was half covered. This was the best of both worlds for us. Able to easily move in and out of the sun/drizzle and still be outside. It was also very close to the full aft deck which very few people ever use.

I am more confused than ever. We were told all Dolfin balconies are covered,but the Tom website doesn't say that. Any other opinons ?

I think the only dolphin balconies that at fully covered are at th back of the ship. We have been in d710 and d708. All the dolphin balconies in that area are covered. We chose d710 for our next cruise.

I am in C515 on Coral...is that balcony covered. I understand it is personal preference, ...but what are the pros and cons of covered/uncovered?

If you check out this handy dandy website, you will see that C515 is a large balcony that is half covered and half uncovered (much like the Caribe deck balconies on the Grand Class ships).

 

Coral and Island Balconies

 

We were a few doors down from that cabin on our Panama Canal cruise and loved the cabin and the balcony.
