Celebrity made me smile yesterday

Not sure about why this year is so different, but I find myself with a great deal of pre-cruise excitement in April for a trip planned in August (and booked last year)

Anyway, I had to smile yesterday.

I am driving from Houston to Dallas on I45 after a rather trying week of work and I see a sign.

Still Talking about Your Cruise?

And I think to myself, you know we do talk about how much fun have had our past two (cruise) vacations.

Then another sign

Great Memories are not to be forgotten. And I think a little deeper about how much fun we had as a family.

A third sign with a ship and a Celebrity Logo.

I now smile and think "that will be us this summer"

For what it is worth, the three billboards nailed our family. We still talk about our last cruise(s). They do not even know we are going on a cruise this summer (I booked Summit to Bermuda), but I know they will love a return to Celebrity.

Well they have nailed our demographic.

We took the I45 round-trip to Galveston to sail on NOS last summer. We really enjoyed it.

That being said, we are coming back to Celebrity despite no Flow Rider, Ice Skating, Rock Wall, Quest (which was fun), etc.

And we cruise Celebrity Because it doesn't have those things! Funny how we all view life and what brings us enjoyment.

Exactly. We enjoyed all of those things on NOS, but all agreed we preferred the Celebrity experience. Not sure how to quantify it.

Wife and I loved the welcome aboard drink, no smoking in casino, the drink package (like that anywhere), etc.

Our girls actually preferred Celebrity's youth programs

We all tilted towards Celebrity for food (though youngest loved getting a Chops filet in the MDR 2x)

The little things go on.

Nothing at all "wrong" with RCI but I could have booked them to Bermuda and did not.
