Perry Grant - coming to Princess this fall

Yes, I have been repaired and am now recovering well thank you..........a new man is on the horizon!! When better we are to sail round Britain in July on Royal Princess and at the end of October are going to China on a land tour followed by a cruise to Singapore. Michigan? Who knows, but hopefully one of these fine days thank you.............

We first ran across Perry several years ago (what ship I don't remember). Found him entertaining, but not enough to turn us into real fans. Recently, however, we began thinking about past trips we enjoyed and decided to consider another trip on the Eclipse to see him again. I was just now looking at TAs for the spring of next year and was very surprised to see posts about his move to Princess. That is just fine with us, because we are mostly Princess cruisers anyway. Likely, given that his show is pretty much unchanged, he wanted to move to be introduced to a new group of travelers, or it could be a strategic move by Carnival Corp. - who knows. For those how have never seen him, for sure he will fill whatever room they can find for him.

 

Since I am looking at next Spring, does anyone know what is planned after his first contract on Princess ends?

Is Bert Stratton still around - he used to be fantastic although a few years now since I saw him perform............

 

Yes, Bert is still around. He is now doing 12 weeks a year on Princess. We saw him last year on Caribbean and then again a few weeks ago on the Star. We did not know he would be on the Star and were thrilled to have gotten a TWO-FER with Bert on back-to-back Princess cruises.

He has said he was retiring on a number of occasions over the past few years.

He gets off the Star today and goes back on the Star for 6 weeks on Sept. 5th. I was hoping Perry Grant would pop up somewhere during my schedule, but he seems to be enamoured with Celebrity right now.
