bell777 Posted May 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2015 What can you use the on board credits? If I do not use all of it on purchases can i use the remainder towards some of the gratuities and if so do i need to ask them to do it or will they use it automatically
Native Floridian 26 Posted May 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2015 We always use the OBCs for gratuities as we don't usually end up with much of a bill from onboard purchases. It's quite easy to use though think drinks, photographs, duty free shops, onboard excursions, coffee shop, etc. No shortage of ways to spend OBCs. klfrodo Posted May 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2015 From the moment you walk on the ship, all of your on board charges will first come out of any credits you have acquired. It's not like you purchase something and they ask you if you want to charge it? Or take it out of your OBC.

kicia Posted May 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Some on board credits, such as from price drops, are fully refundable. So you can cash out the last night.

riffatsea Posted May 15, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2015 If you have on board credit it will be used the 2nd night of the cruise towards paying your tips unless you pre pay them. IF you have more than what you owe for tips it will be used up by what you spend on board.
JazzyMae Posted May 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I have a little over $700 in on board credit from price drops, and we prepaid our gratituities. So, if we don't spend it all, we can just go to customer service and get our refund?
