We have been to Paradise Beach twice while on Princess ships. We will be sailing soon on RCCL's Independence of the Seas. Is it still feasible to go on our own to Paradise Beach from this ship? I don't know where they will dock. Also, is it still safe to take a cab on our own in Mexico? Thanks in advance.

It is an easy $17+tip cab ride each way (for up to 4 passengers in the van ;)) to PB. Cabs in Coz are well regulated - unlike Philadelphia! :mad: and Coz is the easiest port outside of the US to do an excursion on your own.

 

Admission is $3 each and the pool is HUGE, the facilities are great, the beach is nice and the food/drinks/service are great! Enjoy! :)

The cab fares are posted at the cruise terminal - it is a set fare. Extremely safe. Always cabs waiting to take you back - the return fare is a little different by a few bucks.

You presumably docked at puerta Maya with Princess? International pier is right next door!
