E.M. Posted April 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I am considering a future cruise with Princess and would like to know what the times are for early and late seating for dinner. E.M.
Flyer Posted April 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Usually, early dining is about 6:15 p.m. and late dining is about 8:15 p.m.
ScubaJim Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 That is correct On the Grand it was 6pm and 8pm. I recommend the 6pm so you can catch the show later on at the Princess Theater. Happy Cruising!
cdnguy Posted April 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2004 This can change by about 15 mins. either way depending on itinerary and season. Island Princess - Hawaii, Nov.5/
Rare geoherb Posted April 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2004 We like late traditional dining. We've always been able to catch the shows that we wanted to see. The shows are still timed to work out for traditional diners. Some folks who eat late in the PC dining rooms may not be able to make the shows. heyjude27 Posted April 7, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2004 I was surprised at how many shows on our last voyage only ran late -- I thought rather late, like about 10:30. This works out nicely for late diners, so don't worry about missing out on too much. I always consider the time of sunset, which I insist on watching from out on deck. Depending on time of year and location, you'll miss this completely with an early dinner. Ah, just another of the complicated choices we're forced to make on these grueling cruises (joke). srphnx Posted April 7, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 7, 2004 We usually take early traditional becasue of the shows and because if you eat late, you sleep late and miss the great mornings... also you are not hungry for the midnite buffets Alaska Diamond Princess 05/04 Mercury 06/02 Rhapsody o.t. Crowsie Posted April 7, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 7, 2004 We always select Traditional Late Dining. However, in the Med, late dining was 8:45 pm...now that was late..even for us!
