Wave61 Posted June 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2015 I know that each person can bring one bottle of wine on board with them. And I know that bottles of wine can be purchased ahead of time from the fun shops. However, hubby and I have an on board credit and I am wondering if we can purchase a bottle of wine from room service?
falkcor Posted June 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2015 you should be able to order pretty much any wine or liquor you see in the online fun shop through room service.

south-carolinagirl Posted June 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Is it more expensive than ordering from fun shops?
PalmTreeBound Posted June 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Last month I was on the Legend. I bought a bottle of wine from the atrium bar and another time a bottle at the comedy club.
maryred Posted June 21, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Though I've never purchased a bottle from room service I have purchased ones in the MDR or from the casino bar with the express purpose of drinking it in my cabin (out on the balcony). All I do is request of my steward in the morning that the ice bucket is to be kept full and when ready I purchase the bottle, have the crew open it (sometimes having 1 glass then & there) and bring the bottle back to my cabin. In the past DH has purchased bottles from the Formalities shop for in cabin delivery but as the ships get the 2.0 upgrades they seem to phasing this out in favor of the Shake Spot or Cherry on Top sweets shops. EmmasNana Posted June 21, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 21, 2015 I just purchase a bottle from any bar and get a couple wine glasses at the same time.

BeachLoverstoo Posted June 22, 2015 #10 Share Posted June 22, 2015 We purchase one (or more) of the wine packages and generally order a bottle with dinner, but on our last cruise we wanted wine in our cabin and went to the atrium bar. They didn't have the bottle we wanted and sent us to the casino bar to get it. No problem at all. Also got glasses there.
luv2cruz66 Posted July 5, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 5, 2015 Love the search forum tool on CC. You answered all my wine purchasing questions! I was worried I might "pre-purchase" too much wine and now I know I can just order a bottle on the ship for the same price as pre-purchase if I run out! Thank you! (P.S. I do realize that the statement "too much wine" is bit of an oxymoron!
