12:30 Hobby for Nov cruise?

Question: is a 12:30 departure out of Hobby a reasonable gamble in mid November? We're cruising out of Houston-Bayport and understand there is less likelihood of fog in November compared to spring. I know there are no guarantees concerning weather (and an accident-free ship channel) but trying to gauge risk.

It is my understanding that the ships that sail from Bayport return the night before to avoid the morning fog. You would have no problem at all getting to the airport, assuming you have transportation lined up. It is just a half hour drive to Hobby.

Fog is a rarity in November.

Fog is more prevalent in the early spring with warm air and cooler water temps.

Hobby is 30 minutes from Bayport. You will have more than enough time.

You should be fine, that's the time I would have booked, we have cruised in area in November 3 or 4 times

12:30 should be an easy make. Freak accidents are the only thing that might be a problem & those are rare. I would not be concerned at all for that flight.

Excellent - thanks! We're coming in two days early to spend time at the Johnson Space Center, but will be in "zooming home-mode" after the cruise.

We sailed last Nov in to Galveston made it to hobby by 930 for our 1240 flight
