Bummer! I can see us spending a lot of time in the serenity area since the lido deck is so packed on this ship. Our room is in this area as well.

Well we just got back from from the Sunshine last Saturday.... We actually enjoyed our inside cabin! DH who was completely against it, said he really liked it. We slept great and aren't in the room long enough to even have missed the window. As for the casino.... We lost. But hey, we both were big enough losers to earn 2 more "free" cruises!!!;) and we both ended up taking home colds as well... Overall though, we had a great time and all the workers were fabulous!!!!

TOAST - I'm fairly certain that I saw a toaster on the right side of the Taste Bar at breakfast, never used it though and it was before I'd had my first coffee of the day so maybe I was dreaming... :o

If you like a party atmosphere do not miss the first night Rock The Promenade. It starts in the atrium on deck 3 right after the early Welcome Aboard Show and goes from bar to bar. Soooo much fun! :D

Inside cabin - turn the TV on to the forward web cam channel. It's like a night light during the night, and a window when the sun comes up :p

I just looked up the sample menu and it looked good. What do you recommend?

The duck app is very good. The peppered beef entree and the chili shrimp are excellent. I hear the Kung pao chicken is good. It looks great from the pics.

I am cruising the Sunshine next year. Anyone have any idea what they are doing to her in Dry Dock in a few weeks?

Routine hotel maintenance, replacing carpet, scraping the hull, maintenance to the propulsion system, engines, etc...

We went on Sunshine twice last year and had a wonderful time. We saw the complaints about it being crowded but didn't think it was horrible in fact we couldn't figure out why people were complaining. The serenity decks were awesome. Shows were awesome. Food was awesome. We were really happy with it. Crew was more than happy to please. We would definitely sail her again and we thought she was a beautiful ship. The only thing that's screwed up and I feel bad for the performers is when they did the refurbish they made the dressing room for the cast (shows) up spiral stairs so the singers and dancers can't even use the dressing room between set changes...they have to change on stage behind the curtain. Nevertheless the shows were out of this world!
