D4 Posted July 15, 2015 #26 Share Posted July 15, 2015 The clientele, atmosphere, and where the passengers are from are also different. Our cruises have all been 7-14 nights. A couple months ago, we did a B2B on the Breeze which was a 6 night and 8 night. We were surprised at how different the two passenger sets were. Many crew members said it's always like that because the Breeze alternates 6 and 8 night cruises. I guess the two night price difference between is the reason. tea4ular Posted July 15, 2015 #27 Share Posted July 15, 2015 As an introduction to cruising I took my 2 best friends on a 5 night. By day 3 they were hooked and asked me to start planning a 7 night! The difference is really just some more time to read, nap, possibly overindulge, and really let the pressure of day to day disappear! Since then one of the 2 has now gone on 3 more cruises with me including a 12 nighter - which was outrageous! She is hooked! We also started with ocean view and then upgraded to balcony - it's a slippery slope! :p
OCruisers Posted July 15, 2015 #28 Share Posted July 15, 2015 We are adding a 5 day prior to a 14 day (same ship, same cabin) giving us 19 days. Works for us! :D
