sallybrown2012 Posted August 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2015 We haven't sailed on NCL before. On other ships, we have enjoyed getting our formal photos taken (my favorite is just in front of a white background, but others have been nice too) before going to dinner one or two times during the week. Can anyone tell me what kind of photo opportunities we might find on the Dawn? Do they have a variety of backgrounds? Different ones each night? Do the lines get long? Do you have a particular strategy for when you decide to get pictures taken? Many thanks.

Usually during the dress up or not night (or whatever they call it now) there are many many photographers set up outside the restaurants and in the atrium and they all have different backdrops. You can go to one or all to get your picture taken, then select the ones you like best. I have never seen any long lines. Maybe 3-4 people waiting, but it does not take long. TrumpyNor Posted August 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) It is actually every night different photo back drops to choose from around the Atrium on the ship - usually 3 or 4 different ones, and they change it every night (some of the back drops are formal and others more "relaxed"), and they are there from around 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Freckles_51 Posted August 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Be sure to try different photographers......some are better than others and some are more creative.......in the end you will have a good variety of photos to choose from.
