Hi,

I'm sailing on the Independence in September. It's my first cruise with Royal Caribbean:D ! Can anyone tell me what times the hot tubs on the ship open and close? Also, I'm especially interested in the two hot tubs in the Solarium. Is it crowded often? When are they least crowded?

Any help in this area would be much appreciated!

Just a note that the hot tubs in the Solarium would be for age 16 and over.

To pretty much echo what everyone else has said:

1) They are very quiet in the evening, especially during dinner and shows. Sometimes they start to get busy again during the late evening (after 9-10pm) because usually half are closed for cleaning, but not overly crowded.

2) Again, they start closing half mid evening for cleaning, but half are always open.

3) During port days the entire pool area is usually a quiet place until mid afternoon. It is actually a nice way to spend a day compared to how busy the ports can be!

4) Sea days mid morning through late afternoon they are busy.. but if you are a morning person before 10/11 am, they are usually pretty open as well.

Have a fun trip!!!!

Thanks so much for this info, it's very helpful. I am very much a morning person. I don't suppose that they would be open from 6 or 7am? That would be great! Even 8am would be great :)

There is normally at least 1 hot tub open 24 hours a day, they clean them in rotation, so they can leave 1 open
