Navigator, embarkation dining options...?

I just read a recent Navigator review who said that on embarkation day the only dining option was the buffet. Is this true....? We like to go to the dining room if it's available......does anyone know...?? Sailing her mid October.....thanks

The dining room is never open for lunch on boarding day. Some of the "snack-y" places will be open, but if you want a full mean, the buffet is your option.

We were on Navigator earlier this year. We went to the MDR to see about our evening table selection and saw people eating lunch at two very large tables. When I inquired I was told that they were passengers on a B2B cruise and they were allowed in the MDR for lunch.

If my poor ole memory is working, I think we ate at the Sabor the first night, for a 25% discount. Or was this the next night? Oh, well we did have a discount, and the Mexican food was "right on."

We will be sailing on the Navigator 11-10-15 4 night Western, can someone tell me if all the specialty dinning resturants offer a discount to eat there the first night?

 

Can someone tell me where the Diamond Lounge is on the Navigator?

 

It has been a while since we have done a 4 night cruise, can someone tell me will they have Lobster or is that only on the 7 night cruises?

 

Any other information regarding the Navigator will be appreciated it.
