Sounds like these are your pre-cruise docs - sent directly by Prncess after final payment has been made.

Your official docs (tickets) will come about 3-4 weeks before departure date.

I like getting the pre-cruise docs. They help to plan excursions and pump-up the excitement.

We just booked our next cruise last minute (within 4 weeks to departure) so won't be getting the pre-cruise. Rec'd an email from our TA to days our tickets are in the mail.

Can't wait...

Enjoy your cruise

Thanks for pointing that out Todd R. I was so excited I didn't even notice there were no tickets enclosed. We have traveled with Royal Car before, and it all came together.

Chris or anyone,
Also going 6/26/04!!
Do you know if each person gets there pre docs at there individual address or do they all come to the person who booked the cruise.

My sister got hers yesterday, she booked cruise and lives at a different address than my Mom, my daughter, and myself. We didn't get any at our address.

We all filled out the info for immigration under the Personalizer.

Thanks,
Donna

DBD/Bucky-

I know that they send them after final payment is made. For our Golden cruise last month and for our CP cruise in June they came about a week after we paid.

I'm sure one of the board's TA's can confirm this but I believe they come to the address on the booking.

I also filled out about all of it online. There was only one form they sent, one requesting inbound and outbound flight information, that I couldn't do online. I thought that was kind of odd; it's one of the few things you CAN fill out online with Carnival. But they include a return envelope with them which makes it easy to send back.

Also included was

a "Cruise Answer Book" which is basic information for first-timers and those who have not sailed Princess before

an "Adventures Ashore" booklet all about shore excursions

a copy of your cruise contract (which we really do need to read, as boring as it is)

Some paper forms for booking shore excursions, along with prices, should you want to send them in the mail. I don't know why you would though since that can be done through the Cruise Personalizer online.

and a welcome letter outlining what you need to do with all this stuff
What you don'tget is anything about the Bon Voyage gifts you can buy through Princess to enjoy on your cruise. You'll have to download a form and send it in. They have an awesome selection of items from which to choose. Here's a link to that part of their web site which is not all that easy to find:

Thanks for the Aloha deck plan link. I was planning on calling Princess tomorrow anyway now I have one more question for them. I was aware that the Royal had smaller cabins but I had never heard of a limited balcony. For the other writers, we got our pre cruise package at about 60 days out and the tickets at 30 days. I called Princess a couple weeks ago and verified that all the info I had entered online was indeed entered. They had all our imigration and tour info but not the credit card info that I know I filled out also. So it's worth a call to verify and have everything lined up.

I got my immegration form with my pre-cruise documents. I filled it in online and on the personalizer it says completed. I don''t have to fill the one that I got in the mail also, do I.

sjh,

If you look at the deck below yours there are lifeboats. If your cabin is over one of those, then you probably wont be able to look down or there might be part of the lowering mechanism obstructing your view. Princess will be able to clear this up.

I called Princess and they explained that since my TA requested a queen bed and there are only seperate twins in the room, that to make a queen made the balcony access limited. A strange way to put it but I guess it makes sense.
