Can't access link unless I quote it.

Sorry about that.. Not sure what happened. I think I have fixed the link though - I just tested it and realised it takes you to the latest page so your greeted with a Bronze Sunflower rather than a Trip report. DOH

Thanks for the excellent, concise review. Your photos were grand.

I'm glad you had a nice time on Epic. She's a polarizing ship, and some of us love her. Others do not. I'm on the first post-dry dock sailing, essentially going in the opposite direction you did. I'm super excited to experience all the changes and new entertainment.

Thanks again. Cheers! :)

i'm sooo looking forward to my time in January... i love the ship and I'm really excited for the new entertainment options.

Loved it so much that I have just booked the Morocco/Madeira cruise for late March.

What a lovely review and stunning photos.. I have to say I fully agree with your observations regarding the Spiegel Tent - and the Peter Kay reference had me ROFL.

ps not sure if you noticed but you seem to have a place holder for a name in your review for the guitarist at Maltings. I cant remember myself  but Im sure someone here will remember the name - It should be in your NCL dailies if you brought them home.

I was on this sailing too! I'd never been on the Epic before, having only been on several of the Jewel Class ships, and I have to be honest I was unsure about what to expect! On the whole I was pleasantly surprised about how the ship managed to 'swallow' 4000 passengers without it being too crowded (disembarkation aside).

Thought the arrival into Lisbon from my mini suite overlooking the suspension bridge and tugs was pretty awesome too!

From my dallies it seems the guitarist was Tsurita?
