Freestyle Coke Machines

Which ships currently have the Freestyle Coke Machines? Are they planning to add them to more ships?

Explorer, Grandeur, Freedom, Enchantment, Oasis, Allure, Majesty, Jewel, Quantum, Anthem

Royal has not publically revealed any specific plans for adding the machines to other ships.

Maybe someone boarding Liberty or Navigator can ask if they are coming to those ships anytime soon. Those seem the likely next targets.

Where are they on Jewel and Anthem/Quantum?

I only remember on Oasis they are in the Royal Promenade and Windjammer. When the 70s event was going on in Promenade, I couldn't get to the machine so I decided to try Windjammer but it was closed. I think it's stupid for them to be there in the corner. I barely saw people use them in this venue. They should be more accessible, IMO.

Jewel has them at Windjammer and I believe there is one on the Centrum too.

I don't remember them in the Centrum. I remember only having the ones in the WJ and finding those doors locked at 7am on a port day. There were 4 machines in the rear of the WJ, two on each side.

On the Jewel, they are on the left side of the Windjammer where there used to be soft serve machines, right near the door that leads to the outside section of the Windjammer.

The Jewel allowed access to the Freestyle machines, even when the WJ was closed. There was a sign at the entrance of the WJ directing you to enter the WJ by a door they left open that takes you into a private dining area off the WJ. The door is by the restrooms. You just walked through the dining area into the WJ to the Freestyle machines.

I am not sure if you could also access the machines from the outside area of the WJ by coming down the stairs outside the Seaview Cafe. We meant to try it but never did.

Theoretically they put them on "North American" cruise ships, so the liberty does seem like a likely choice. Adding to that, they are due for renovations in march or something... Maybe they'll be added then?

That said, it doesn't matter who or how many times you ask. The crew of the liberty won't have any more information than we do here.

Aren't there Freestyle machines in the kids Arcades on some ships? Oasis class, I think. (But it's been a while - so I don't really remember.)

I think they moved them out of the arcade to Wipeout Cafe. I loved having them in the arcade since it was just steps from our room since we always do Boardwalk cabins on 14, plus it never closes!

OTOH, there were many times when it was out of flavors and it often got trashed since there is nobody there to monitor it, so I understand why they would have moved them.

Makes sense.

I don't remember the machines being blocked during parades on Freedom. (But that's probably because I was sitting at a bar or in the casino where I was drinking something else. :D)

Usually, but if it was happening the word can leak out. I always take crew reports in the proper context but sometimes they do distribute valid info.

Similar slightly off topic question-- Do I have to carry around the drink cup the whole cruise? Or do they provide a disposable cup and just present my card with drink package?

You only need the cup if you want to use the Freestyle machine (over 100 flavors). You can get a soda (one of about 6 flavors) from any bar or restaurant by showing your SeaPass card.
