Dumb excuses people use not to cruise

Years ago after my first cruise a family member told me it is a complete waste of money and that a friend of hers would have been financially better off but they went on too many cruises.

I pointed out to this family member that they have been smoking for over 40 years  'Now that's a waste of money'. Fast forward five years and this person is slowly changing her mind after a few friends have suddenly died and a close friend is struggling with a brain tumour. She said to me recently you are doing the right thing living life while you can. She is even considering a cruise. :)

Another person we know who is fond of 'one-upmanship' and has travelled a fair bit always insinuates that cruisers are old fat boring people and that crusing isn't real travel.

Definitely travel while you can, if you wait until you have enough time and money it may be too late.

Yes, to me travel is leaving home with a packed bag and sleeping elsewhere.

Except when it's for work, as then it is just WORK

Hell I went to WORK in Qld this week - no fun at all.

But when it's not work, then it is TRAVEL :D

33 days to go to my next TRAVEL!!

It just becomes Work travel. No where near as good.

Been said to me..'How can you go on those dirty ships with all that noro virus?'

Also..'You cannot see a country in one day.'

Also..'Too many drunken bogans on those ships.'

I am sure most of you cruiseaholics have heard that rubbish, well the last one could be partly factual ! LOL.
