What Can I Access at Atlantis?

We'll be doing a vow renewal on Cabbage beach by Paradise Island Beach Club resort. After, we want to enjoy the beach, strolling down to Atlantis where our cab will pick us up.

I know the main beach in front of Atlantis is public. In years past, we walked down a central path, past the inner lagoon, pools, etc. We were able to access shops and the casino. We may pay to do the digs but that's not 100%.

Can I still walk from the beach into the Atlantis compound? Assuming we wind up near the casino or the digs, where should we tell the taxi service to pick us up?

You can no longer access Atlantis properties from the beach. Security will stop you. You can no longer walk along the path near the pools who lagoons or anything else outdoors you must go around to the front and enter through one of either coral or Royal Towers and pay to see the grounds.

So, if I want to go the casino, I cannot enter from the beach?

Correct. If you are not a guest of the hotel, you are not allowed on the property, not the walkways, gardens, lagoons or pathways.

BTW, the kids aren't allowed in the casino.

Your best bet is to deposit your seniors at the casino and them meet them somewhere in the Marina Village after your day on the beach with your kids.

No, that would be you would have to enter the pool and lagoon area, and that is off limits to outsiders. If you don't have a wristband or room card, security will not let you onto the property.

We will be in port in March. I have been to Atlantis before and I would like to show my husband around a bit. Maybe the aquarium or the Casino but we are not interested in the water park, beach etc. Can we just take a taxi over there or will I need to buy a day pass to look at any of these areas? Thank you scubagirrl for all your helpful information!

You can enter the lobby to go to the casino (Security will "guide" you there, since you are not allowed in the lobby to just hang out.)

The aquarium is $45pp, you can purchase passes at the main entrance or in the casino. Everything else, with the exception of the Marina Village, is off limits. You can't just walk around and check out the place without paying for an all access pass.

The security is pretty strict there, they won't allow you on the property without a band or room key. We stayed there for a week last year and 95% of the time there was some type of security on the grounds making sure people weren't sneaking in. You won't even be able to get into the royal towers without a key.
