2thesea Posted November 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2015 We will be sailing on the Allure Dec 6th. We booked our show times months ago, as so as they opened up for booking. We chose times that suited us based on our dinning time. Today I received an email that they MOVED our show times (all of them). They scheduled our reservations the same time (or close to) our dinning times!!! Now what??
Clarea Posted November 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2015 Go to Studio B as soon as you board and try to re-schedule as much as you can.

Clarea Posted November 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2015 Thanks Bob :D Why on earth would RCI make changes after we booked and confirmed our show times? Any ideas? They found that too many people were able to attend the shows, so they had to shake it up, Seriously, I have no idea.
setsail Posted November 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) They did it to all that had shows. Booked on this sailing, have you checked the m&m. What you should be doing is going to your cruise planner and rebooking your shows. Its easy and we all had to do it. The main thing that was changed was mama Mia to the last 2 days. We think since they just came back from Europe that some of the actors are changing and they want to practice on the ship the first part of the week with the sound and lighting. It could be any number of reasons, be thankful they sent you an email so you can make changes on your cruise planner Edited November 30, 2015 by setsail
roroe Posted December 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 2, 2015 We were never notified about show changes until Monday. Our group is now scheduled for Mama Mia Saturday night before debarkation. We booked our shows in August for 2nd night of cruise. Our dinner is scheduled for 6:30 and show is 8PM. Not gonna happen. Called Royal Carib several times. Tried to change for Friday night show. They have some tickets but will only release them on the ship, not beforehand. Even our diamond status means nothing, not that I thought it would. Now it's gonna be earlier dinner, 5PM, different waiters, packing late Saturday and up early for debarkation. Very disappointed with Royal Caribbean... All they say is go on line when you get on the ship...Are they kidding? Don't they know what the lines look like on the first day???
Rare Lionesss Posted December 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 2, 2015 It seems that some people that book these shows are to busy to attend. Last August almost everyone in the standby line was admitted (theatre). They may not have gotten the exact seating area, but they got to see the show. And there were still empty seats when the it began. A tight squeeze was anything in the evening in the aquatheatre. Our comedy club show still had empty seats when the first comedian began......I guess this is unusual for this event. Anyway, just happy for the suite perk of seating, just show up and get your seat (except for comedy club). Good luck.

They may have meant go on to your interactive TV in your cabin instead of waiting in line.
cb at sea Posted December 2, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 2, 2015 Stop stressing...you and RCI will make it work! They want you to be happy...even if they make it difficult! I think these advance bookings are bull.....too much trouble for a vacation!

Go to the windjammer, its easy, quick, and no stress or eat in one of the specialty restaurants. On these ships sometimes you have to do work arounds if you want to get it all in. What would you do if already on the ship and the ice show was cancelled due to really rough seas or someone had a heart attack in a show and it was cancelled, you would reschedule. You are on a ship with thousands and lots had to reschedule Edited December 2, 2015 by setsail
hazeleyez3 Posted December 2, 2015 #11 Share Posted December 2, 2015 We are on the same sailing and they didn't re-schedule our reservation, they cancelled it. Oh well. Not a big deal. We can book another showing if we want. What is important is that we'll be on vacation with my father...celebrating a birthday...in warm weather...away from work... avoiding Christmas shoppers and traffic. :)
