Sadly, no Red Frog Pub - but, she has the Red Frog Rum Bar on the Lido.

Conquest class ships includes Glory, Liberty, Freedom, Valor, and Conquest.

We just debarked on December 20th. Great cruise. We really enjoy Conquest class ships! Food, service, and staff excellent. If you have specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Thanks for asking this question. We have sailed the Conquest twice before but it has been several years. We just booked it again for Nov. 2016 for the 8 day sailing. We really liked it when we cruised her before but since it has been a few years I was wondering what kind of shape the ship is in. Sounds like everything is fine and we are looking forward to it!

We will be on her for the 2nd time this February, and I can't wait. I loved this ship pre-2.0 and I can't wait to be on it again after the upgrades.

I have heard she is showing her age a bit, but otherwise is still a great ship with lots to do. Same class as Glory. I think the water slides are still the old style, and there is no Serenity on this ship-but the aft pool is still adults only, just no upgraded furniture and kids come through to get to pizza.

The cruise director is about to change again. "Big Sexy" (Josh Waitzman) is about to start a long term time on the Conquest as their cruise director. I've heard good things about him, so I'm excited to see what he's like to sail with.

I did the 8-day Eastern sailing on her earlier this month and had a wonderful experience! Granted, she's the only ship I've ever been on (my first cruise was also on her in 2014) so I don't have anything to compare her to, but I had no issues. I thought the amount of on-board amenities (Guy's, Blue Iguana, etc.) was good and there was always something to do or somewhere to go. The staff was also incredibly nice and there when you needed something.

The only downsides I could potentially see is that she doesn't have a Serenity area (but we never had a problem finding lounge chairs) and she does show her age if you look for it (we don't; everything was clean and in tact so I was fine). Also, because of her layout, you cannot walk from one end of the ship to the other on decks 3 and 4 so you either have to go up to 5 or down to 2 (not a big deal at all). Some may also say her decor is over the top and while it is a bit out there, it was festive and I was fine with it. Taste is subjective, after all.

Overall, I've enjoyed cruising on her and would do so again if I wasn't so eager to try new ships. I hope you enjoy her!

I never saw any sign of "showing her age" that others speak of. Granted, she is not shiny new like the Breeze or Dream, but she is great none the less!

There is no Serenity, but the aft pool and 2 hot tubs are adults only, so it's a great place to escape from the kiddies and the loud music.

Absolutely loved our 8-day Eastern on her this fall. Service, food, entertainment, cabin - all wonderful! Book it and enjoy!!

Awesome ship, great size boat, never crowded. Love the FunShip 2.0 additions; especially EA Sports Bar and Guy's Burger Joint.

This..

I was just on it a couple of weeks ago and it was nice and clean. I really liked this ship over the others in it's class. I had a great time.

The only thing that I missed was that there was no Serenity area.. but it didn't ruin my vacation.

I suppose the Conquest is okay. It's the ship that our last two Carnival cruises were on. After sailing on Sunshine, Conquest seemed older, more boring, and somehow disappointing (however, you're on a cruise ship, so it's still fun in that regard). There was no serenity deck, and not as many food choices as the Sunshine had...there was one of the restaurant spaces in the aft that had nothing in it at all--except it might have been used for the late night snacks area.

I would pick Conquest over the Fantasy class any day, but if it came down to another Conquest class ship or one of the newer ships, I would probably not go with the Conquest.

Personally, this class is my least favorite. It wouldn't keep me from sailing her (and I really do like her giant colorful glass flowers that make up the lighting on the promenade) but I hate the fact that you can't get around on Deck 3 and 4. And what makes that even worse if that 5 (the promenade) is the logical choice - but that forces you through the very smoky casino. Its so smokey in fact that I avoided the middle stairwell entirely because you could smell the stench up on deck 7, and at times it would even waft as far down as the lobby and certainly into the shop areas.

Any issues with the AC? I have seen quite a few posts about people being very hot.

Also how was embarkation/debarkation?

Thank you!

We had FTTF, and I though embark and debark went very well.

We had cabin 1032 (interior, deck 10) and temperature was fine.

Oh - and I forgot to say that embarkation was a breeze. Left for port at 10:30. At ship by 11. Through check-in and seated at 11:30. Walking to ship 11:50. Debarkation wasn't bad either except for the fact that they have this winding line that goes on forever...

We are sailing this Saturday. Will be be able to see our Redskins play this Sunday on the ship? If so, where's the best location? Will we get game on tv in our cabin?

Anyone else on this sailing a Redskins fan? Maybe we can meet up and watch the game together?

They have the EA sports bar. Im sure they will be showing the games in there. You may get some of the games on your room TV if they are on CBS, NBC, etc.

Happy Sailing!
