Important Escape Question for teenage boy

I have not been able to give him a straight answer on this and he has his priorities: Does the Escape have a pool area grill where he can get a burger? He loved this on the other NCL ships we have sailed. I think he ate one between every meal! :rolleyes:

On the Escape, the burger place near the pool (Uptown Grill and Flamingo Grill on the Breakaway and Getaway) has become Margaritaville, which is chargeable.

 

The closest place for a burger would be the buffet.

Having been on the Escape in November, it's not the answer a lot of guests wanted. They brought out portable bars, but unfortunately, no portable grills.

The buffet is just a hop, skip and a jump away. No worries. He won't go hungry. :D

Just tell him if he goes into the buffet, not only can he get that burger but he can also get an ice cream cone. My teens make about 6 ice cream cones a day and bring them out to the pool.

I did miss not having basic picnic type food not being "near poolside" on the Getaway. But as others have said, they have it all in the buffet, which isn't too far away.

The Garden Cafe and main pool deck (Deck 16) are on the safe level and many people were taking lunch from the buffet out to their sun chairs around the pool. I also noticed one day the pool bar was offering a walk-up hot dog at the bar.

 

Burgers are good at the cafe.

Not that it's near the pool, but O'Sheehan's does a decent burger.

O'Sheehans burger is decent. But getting it at the buffet means you can **** it [emoji5]️
